Sleep Rest Clinic, operated by the Sleep Rest Group, has begun offering two services built on myWaves.
Sun Digital Health is pleased to announce that Sleep Rest Clinic, operated by the medical corporation Sleep Rest Group, has begun offering services built on myWaves.
1. Sleep EEG measurement service: the patient records one night of sleep EEG at home, and the recording together with a sleep EEG chart is provided to the clinic. Physicians use this as reference information when assessing a patient's sleep.
2. myWaves sleep improvement service: a personalised sleep sound is generated from the recorded EEG. Listening to it before bed supports improved sleep quality.
Dr Ryuta Iwane of the Sleep Rest Group, a sleep disorder specialist treating a wide range of sleep complaints, advises on the clinical use of the service as medical advisor.
Dr Iwane commented: “Being able to see a patient's state during sleep as objective data is genuinely useful for understanding how they sleep. I see real potential in both the at-home sleep EEG chart and in myWaves, which works from that individual EEG data.”
